Call for Abstracts
The Scientific Committee invites and encourages all authors to submit abstracts to be considered for inclusion in the scientific program.
Please read carefully the instructions prior to writing your abstract. Abstracts not fulfilling the given instructions cannot be accepted.
Guidelines for Abstract Submission
The abstract should be structured of no more than 350 words is required, subdivided into the following sequential sections: Introduction, Material and methods, Results, and Conclusions.
By submitting your abstract, you give permission to the SERGS to publish the abstract in the congress promotional material. Furthermore, if your abstract is accepted to be presented, you need to be present at the congress in order to present your communication. The organizing committee reserve the right to reject any abstract, at their sole discretion.
Poster presentations
There will be possibilities to present the poster in a paper version as well as video presentations.
Oral presentations
Free communication selected will be included on the congress program.
Please use PPT presentation to be placed on an USB stick. The stick has to be delivered in the preview room as soon as you arrive at the congress.
Video Abstracts
The video file size should not exceed 80 MB and with a duration of 8 minutes.
Videos can be submitted in the following formats: .mpeg, .mov, .mpg, .mp4, .wmv. The video has to use one of the following platforms: Windows Media Player®, RealPlayer® or QuickTime Player®.
You can submit a video as an abstract (abstract 350 words max.).
Video can be selected for an oral presentation.
Registration fees
All authors who want to participate in the Congress have to pay the registration fees.
Abstract modification
When submitted it is not possible to make changes
Agreement / Disclaimer
By submitting your abstract, you certify that the summary is an original contribution and has not been presented or published elsewhere. By submitting you give permission to SERGS to publish on the society website and in any printed materials at the congress. Please note, if your abstract is accepted to be presented, you must be present at the congress in order to present your presentation. The organizing committee reserve the right to reject any abstract, at their sole discretion.

- Meaningful interpretation
- Attractiveness and clarity of presentation
- Originality and interest of the subject
