Robotic surgery is well integrated in Denmark as well as the Nordic countries. Although robotic surgery was introduced first in onco-gynecology, new frontiers have been found and especially in the field of benign surgery and in women with endometriosis, robotic surgery has demonstrated its superiority for advanced surgery.

In the field of advanced surgery new technologies are needed and the Nordic countries are adopting very fast the latest IT solutions including new options for imaging and combined technologies.

SERGS 2021 is to welcome in Svendborg, Denmark representatives from all regional hospital and universities as well as private hospitals, prominent health experts from various fields of medicine as well as students from all medical universities around the world.

We are constantly searching of new global know-how and innovative approach in medical research, development and practice. This is also the fact in relation to robotic technologies and we hope that our scientific program will be able to share new knowledge and evolve you all.
